Tioga Sequoia Offsite Events/Sales Support
Part Time: 16-24 hours per week. Pay Range: $17-$19 per hour.

Location: Fresno

Overview
This is a front-line customer engagement role that carries a high-level of responsibility as the actions and interactions of
the person in this position have a direct impact on how people perceive the brewery and its brands. This role is best
suited to someone with a high-level of self-awareness & integrity used to working with little to no supervision, but
understands that the eyes of the beer public, account decision-makers and distributor staff are always on them.
The actions and conduct of the person in this role have an important effect on whether the sales team is successful in
growing and maintaining their account and customer base, and on the brewery’s image.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Customer engagement by executing tailored offsite marketing events (tastings, promotions, festivals and trade
    shows) throughout the Central Valley, but mostly within the Fresno/Clovis area. Promotions include evening
    work in Bars & Restaurants. Little to no time will be spent at the brewery in downtown Fresno.
  • The loading, transport, and equipment setup at offsite locations, as well as the breakdown and return of the
    equipment to the brewery.
  • Stocking & merchandising key accounts, along with help in building & maintaining displays.
  •  Serving as the Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Events Representative and promoting our positive company culture.
  • Maintaining a positive image of the company at all times, whether on or off the clock.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Google platforms.
  • Basic sales skills, food and beverage experience or brewery knowledge desired – Strong desire to continue to
    grow professionally.
  • Must be enthusiastic, engaging, beer savvy, and organized with the ability to work independently.
  • Good written communication skills. Must be able to develop and produce all necessary written reports, business
    correspondence and presentations necessary to satisfy job requirements.
  • Solid oral communication and people skills are an absolute must. The candidate must know how to
    communicate with various levels of our customer base: the beer public, account/store managers, and
    distributors. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from these
    groups.

Additional requirements

  • Must be able to work Thursday through Sunday.
  • Must have a clean driving record, driving license and be comfortable driving a full-sized van.
  • Must be highly organized, have attention to detail and good time management ability.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 30 pounds
    independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be willing to obtain California Beverage Service certification within 60 days of hire.
